Which shipment events do the emails cover?

Your customers will receive automated notifications at every critical milestone in their package journey: Pending, Info received, In transit, Out for delivery, Ready for pickup (where applicable), Delivered, Exception, Failed attempt, and Expired.

Additionally, we proactively notify customers about exceptions like Failed delivery attempts, Shipment damaged or lost or other shipping issues. Each notification includes a direct link to your branded tracking page where customers can view complete shipment details and take any necessary actions.

Can ParcelPanel send shipping tracking events to Shopify?

Yes. ParcelPanel can sync tracking events to Shopify to update shipment status. This also enables review/return apps or Shopify’s native Out for Delivery and Delivered notifications to be triggered.

  • How to enable: Go to ParcelPanel Admin → Settings → Tailored for Shopify and toggle on. (Optional: check the box for Shopify’s native notifications, but don’t use both Shopify and ParcelPanel notifications together to avoid duplicates.)
  • Where it shows:
    • Shopify Admin → Order details page
    • Shopify order status page
    • Shopify native notifications (Out for Delivery, Delivered)
